Native to North America, this easy-to-grow shrub has many uses. It is a popular wildlife planting in or on the edge of forests, but it is also a heavy-yielding plant producing small plums excellent for jams, jellies, wines and fresh eating. It is sometime used in landscaping for creating a hedgerow. The American Plum is self-pollinating, but is an excellent pollinator for other plum trees.

These are available as 2′ bareroot plants.
